Shelter Helper Service Projects

Any school, scout, or community group or even family can participate in our Shelter Helper Service Projects!

Shelter Helpers provide animals with new toys, blankets, or accessories; groups can also raise funds to help support our shelter.  Several ways kids have helped raise money for our shelter include:

Coin or Pet Food/Supply drives
Collecting aluminum cans for cash
Having a craft or bake sale

If your group is interested in making no-sew fleece cat blankets, we recommend starting size of fleece at 2'x2.5'  You can then cut notches about 3/4" wide by 2" long around the perimeter of the fabric and then tie the notches in double knots.
